I started this blog a few weeks after getting married in July of 2006. At the time, it was just me, BJ, our lovable Labrador, and our evil cat. Here is how I explained this blog: "This is the chronicle of us all learning how to live together." Well, now it is me, BJ, a little boy, a baby girl, and a loveable mutt, and this is still a blog about us learning to live together.

I'm strong enough to face the cold. I'm strong enough to face the cold. I'm strong enough...
This has become my morning chant (or you might say pep talk) while crouched in the fetal position in front of our space heater.
Eleven days to Texas (and Texas had better deliver some unseasonably warm weather.)

I am counting down, too, baby. I am so excited ya'll are getting to come here. I love you two. Mom P
Ahahaha...too funny. You're too cute. In time it'll not seem so bad. Mostly because you'll be perma-frozen. Wait until spring tho... spring after actually having winter (sorry, Texas doesn't have winter) ... is glorious.
Also, you should look into Twitter.com....I could see that being something you could have fun with.
Haha! I know exactly what you mean! I am so thankful to have a garage. If I didn't, I seriously don't know how I would make it to work. Last night, we were planning on getting together with some friends. They called and asked if we wanted to come over to their house, and Darby said, "Well, what if you came over here?" They kept insisting, so finally Darby had to admit that we were too wimpy to get out in the cold. :) They're natives; they should have to brave the subzero temps, not us!

I agree with Allie....LOVE Twitter because I can update by texting! It's great for those of us who are good at one-liners.
Okay...I had no idea that would publish with Chad's pic. But you know its from me, right?--BRENDA
